The rubber duck....An icon of the 20th Century. Duck Factory is a VR game that puts you in the shoes of a factory worker. Probably one of the most important jobs you will ever do. You start off as a humble box packer, and work your way up through the company taking on different roles as you progress your career.
Your first task in duck factory is to sort ducks coming off the production line into boxes. At times this feels like your playing beat saber and others like Job Simulator.
Duck Factory is currently in development. I am a solo developer, and plan on doing all of the work on the game myself. I have a rough demo already up and running and plan to expand the game over the coming months. When I am happy with where the game has got to, I hope to release the game on Steam in early access. This will allow me to further develop the game and improve it based off feedback. Hopefully.
While I am developing the game, I am also writing a blog. The blog is going to cover some of the technical details of how I am going about developing the game but will also contain some of my thoughts on VR in general.
